Sandwich with white cabbage, chicken and apple salad
Creamy white cabbage salad and sliced apples soften this chicken sandwich. Great as a main meal, snack or picnic. try also this greek cake recipe too.
Ingredients
Main course For 4 people
80 g of crème fraîche
40 g of mayonnaise
4 tablespoons of lemon juice
1 pinch of sugar
salt
pepper
200 g of white cabbage
1 red onion
1 large carrot
2 small red apples
¼ of a bunch of dills
½ cooked, boneless bouillon hen or 250g cooked chicken
8 slices of brown flour loaves, for example with seeds

How to proceed
Preparation: approx. 20 minutes
Mix the crème fraîche with the mayonnaise, half of the lemon juice, sugar, salt and pepper. Cut the white cabbage in half, remove the core and cut it into strips. Do the same with the onion. Cut the carrot into tongues with a mandolin. Mix all the vegetables with the sauce. Cut the apples into thin slices with a mandolin and sprinkle with the remaining lemon juice. Remove the dill tips from the stems. Chop the chicken meat. Stuff half of the slices of bread with the meat, cabbage salad and apples, garnish with dill and cover with a second slice of bread.
